    NONFICTION RESEARCH

     
    RESEARCH
    Choose one of the two following research subjects:
     
     
    ANDREW MISHKIN and the MER mission (Making tracks on Mars)
     
    Prepare an illustrated report including the following information:
    1. A list of goals of the mission
    2. The results of the exploration
    3. Your own evaluation of the mission’s success.
     
    HISTORY OF SLAVERY IN THE UNITED STATES (Harriet Tubman: Guide to freedom)
     
    Research part of the history of slavery in the US.  Concentrate on the period from 1740 to 1865.  Make a timeline with at least five important events that happened during these times.
    • a)
    Divide the timeline into intervals of 25 years.
  • b)
    • For each event that you insert, write a note explaining why it was important.
